Jessica Perkins

I started working in the Fitness Industry in 2009 whilst studying at The University of Canberra. I was lucky to find a role that I enjoyed, but I planned to move on after I completed my degree. However my passion for health and fitness kept drawing me back to the industry and I found it hard to find anything as rewarding as Personal Training. I have worked with athletes, children, seniors and every age in between, all with varying goals and abilities. The only constant being my commitment to helping them improve and reach their potential.

Contributing to your client’s success on their individual fitness journey, and witnessing people achieve all kinds of personal goals.

Who motivates you or inspires you?

My brother and sisters. My brother inspired me to begin a career in the fitness industry. My sisters motivate me to work hard, they are my favourite training partners!

How do you motivate your clients to achieve their goals?
I like to get to know my clients and build a relationship where they are comfortable, and trust that I can get them to where they want to be. I add variety and new challenges to my sessions to keep my clients motivated, having fun and progressing.
