I’ve lived your problems and goals, fought your battles with weight, food, exercise, fitness. I’ve learnt how to overcome them all with a program that relies on research into what works (and what doesn’t) combined with an understanding of how to make it happen in real life where work, children and lifestyle conspire to frustrate us.
What is the best part of being a personal trainer
Seeing that big change in clients lives, it could be losing 40 kilos, running a marathon, or just being full of energy and life.
Who motivates you or inspires you?
My granddad – he filled my early life with adventure and self-belief – something I love trying to pass on...
What makes you laugh?
My children! In soo many ways...
My favourite playtime activity?
Adventure races – that combination of intense physical activity with the mental challenge of navigating is just the best.
Experience/Things I’ve done
Losing 40 kilos after having my children, despite loving food... : )
Running a marathon, when I don't much love running!
Becoming a gym junkie and then deciding I could teach it better than anybody who trained me...
Deciding that I needed more depth of knowledge in weight loss and well... Masters of Nutrition degree is done... now for the PhD.
