"I’m so glad I started exercising at Take Shape!"

When I first started there I was suffering from a back injury and building up from a very low level of fitness. I just took it gradually to start with and only went once a week. That built up my confidence and I started learning the exercises and what my body was capable of.

However it was in September when Tracey announced the 12 week weight loss challenge program that I realised it was time to step up to the next level and get serious about my health and fitness. It was really the jump start I needed. The support and enthusiasm really worked for me! Also the simplicity of the program… I am definitely not one for diets.

I’m 6 kg lighter than I was in September, and my old jeans are too big for me! I’ve really improved my fitness and my energy levels.

What I love about the keep fit classes is they are always fun and no two sessions are ever the same. If there is a certain move that’s not good for my back the trainers can modify it to suit and so I feel confident that I can push myself.

I love the small group atmosphere at Take Shape, it’s a friendly place, you don’t feel anonymous like in the big gyms. I feel so happy with how far I’ve come, thanks to Tracey, Alex, Cheyne and the other trainers.
