Prepare for your session with your water bottle, sunscreen if outdoors, and towel. Click the Zoom link on your email to join virtual sessions, or meet us at the park for your outdoor session.

Book your next session – after your 7 days you can check out our packages to keep going and add even more training options, including 1 on 1 Personal Training.

I’d never done anything like that before, I mean the burpees and the lunges. I tried to keep up as best I could and was able to do that with the way it was run. I was puffed and sweaty at the end. A good work out!

So having never done any actual workouts with Take shape before (I don’t live nearby) I thought I would take the opportunity of a little extra time on my hands thanks to social isolation and try some online classes, I started with a yoga session Friday afternoon which was fab and booked myself into boot camp this morning then a beginner workout this afternoon.

I loved both sessions and was really pleased with how easy it was setting up zoom on my iPad and getting set up and on the go.

Take shape were great if I had any questions so the whole process was easy.

My workmates might not recognise me by the end of this lockdown

In 2008, Take Shape was born, with a drive and purpose to get people off the couch, and moving to feel awesome. We started outdoor group fitness and one-on-one training in the local park to motivate, inspire and get mums and dads moving.  With the belief that exercise should be fun, and something that fits into busy lives plus builds friendships and communities. With a growing community of fitness enthusiasts, in 2010 we opened the Take Shape Health & Fitness personal training studio in Alphington.

A place where you can feel supported, where your trainer will know your name, where you’ll be encouraged to challenge yourself, and be inspired to live a life of freedom, fitness and adventure. We believe in health, in wellness, and using exercise to celebrate what our bodies and minds can achieve. 

From a passion for fitness and the love of outdoors, in 2013 Tracey and Adrian founded Take Shape Adventures – to provide their fitness community with the opportunity to take on challenges and discover the benefit of getting out of their comfort zones…

Fast forward through the years and both our studio and adventures have united, to help people make friends and provide opportunities to explore the benefits or fitness and the outdoors. It continues to grow from strength to strength, supported by wonderful staff, and more importantly backed by an incredibly awesome community of like minded people of all types of fitness, shape, gender and size.
