We are excited to be opening our doors to you guys once again! That is, our physical doors, as our live Zoom classes streamed right to you was an awesome door of opportunity for new ways for fitness in a safe environment.
In line with the easing of restrictions for Melbourne, we are opening our doors from the 9th of November.
Please read this with care as it explains our current operating restrictions.
In the initial stages of re-opening, the government restrictions are (at 08/11/20):
Maximum of 20 participants allowed in the studio at one time
Maximum of 10 in a class setting in a room
1 person per 8sqm of floor space
While this does put a little roadblock on what we can do, we expect this to increase over the next few weeks as the government continues to ease restrictions.
We will be maintaining a mostly virtual timetable while these restrictions are here, with our new strength group personal training sessions at the studio for our members.
With health being at the forefront of what we do, our Take Shape team has and will continue to provide a COVIDSafe environment for you to train in when at the studio.
At the entrance we have a ‘1 rep of sanitiser’ admission fee. All clients and trainers must use the sanitiser as they walk in. We have a dispenser at the door, and in the kitchen area too.
We are implementing a No Towel-No Workout rule to promote a hygienic environment, so please bring one along with you for any sessions. They can also be bought at the studio.
Our in-studio classes will have a strict cap of 5 and must be pre booked. This gives us room to have our own spaces and to socially distance, and to also assist in contact tracing.
If there is any equipment to be shared, it will be cleaned and disinfected between users, which we have ample supply on hand. When finished with equipment, clean it down.
You must wear a face mask to your training session. This must be worn unless engaging in strenuous exercise. All trainers must wear a face mask when working.
We’ve got our eye on the everchanging rules and will adjust safely and accordingly, but for now, we’re just happy that we can train back in the studio again!
